Sony confirmed that an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update is soon headed to the Tablet S and Tablet P. The devices will receive an Android 4.0.3 update next month, however it is sketch whether this is only for the Japanese market. Sony Mobile just released a video showing their new floating touch screen technology on the SM Sola smartphone. The new technology allows you to hover over the screen to move a virtual mouse pointer around, and when links are highlighted, you can then tap the screen to click on it.
The new technology allows you to interact with your smartphone up to 20mm away from the screen.

After CES, Sony is still coming out with new announcements. The latest up is a spring refresh for its line of VAIO laptops. The Z series now sports a Carbon Fiber Silver option, and have LTE 4G radios as customizable options.
