The Samsung Galaxy S III has finally been announced, and based on the specs, it jives with everything that was being rumored for the past few months. It will include a blistering 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch HD display, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 1GB of RAM and of course, 4G LTE. University of Pittsburgh researches recently announced that they have discovered a means of wirelessly transmitting data thousands of times faster than current standards. The Pittsburgh group, led by Hrvoje Petek, a physics and chemistry professor at the university, indicated that they have theoretically found a way to transmit data between devices in the terahertz frequency.

A rumor has surfaced that Samsung could be announcing the Galaxy SIII, with a release date of April this year. The announcement is said to occur at the Mobile World Congress this February.
As with previous Galaxy S models, you can expect some high-end specs and a very sleek device, possibly even a thinner model than the current Galaxy SII…..if that’s physically possible.
