Apple and HTC sign truce ending patent disputes
In a suprise truce in Apple’s ongoing patent wars, the company has signed a 10-year licence agreement with Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC. Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Co Ltd (SEL) developed a 6.05-inch LCD panel that can reduce the eye strain of a user who watches a display for long hours.

Groupon’s new mobile payment service
Groupon (GRPN) has unveiled a credit card payment service, dubbed Groupon Payments, to compete with the likes of Paypal and Square.
