Barnes and Noble is planning to launch a new Android eReader May 24th. The new eReader gadget hit gadget news during a meeting with analysts and investors, saying “it expects to make an announcement on May 24, 2011 regarding the launch of a new eReader device.”

AT&T is stepping up with the upcoming summer launch of the 4G-enabled Acer Iconia Tab A501 Android tablet. Today Samsung is posting a Facebook invitation for their CTIA Orlando showing, hinting at a new tablet the company plans to unveil. The device will be the third addition to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab lineup. Motorola announced pricing for their XOOM tablet. Apparently, the 3G/4G version will be available from Verizon Wireless for an unsubsidized price of $799. Today a YouTube video has surfaced providing a quick overview of the LG G-Slate from T-Mobile.
