Samsung and Dropbox just announced that anyone who buys the new Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Camera will get 50GB of free online storage for two years. The Dropbox app will come pre-installed on both devices and the Galaxy Note II will automatically sync photos and videos to the service. Sprint just announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The Android 4.0 handset can be pre-ordered today and will be available beginning Sunday, April 22nd for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement.

Blogger Pocketnow released a leaked press image of Sprint’s upcoming HTC EVO One prior to the handset’s rumored announcement later today. The image pictures the device between the HTC One X for AT&T and the T-Mobile-bound HTC One S. Sprint’s One-series smartphone is rumored to feature a 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display and a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

AT&T just announced that their HTC Vivid will start receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update now. This update also includes Sense 3.6, and it brings the company’s Beats Audio technology to the 4G LTE handset as well. Sony Mobile just released a video showing their new floating touch screen technology on the SM Sola smartphone. The new technology allows you to hover over the screen to move a virtual mouse pointer around, and when links are highlighted, you can then tap the screen to click on it.
The new technology allows you to interact with your smartphone up to 20mm away from the screen.

Sprint has announced an entry-level Android-powered device, the ZTE Fury. This little gem features a 3.5-inch capacitive display with a 1GHz single-core processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. LG recently introduced the new Optimus Vu 5-inch tablet, a week before the handset’s Mobile World Congress debut. The Vu features a 5-inch IPS display and is a hybrid between a smartphone and a tablet. The device is thinner than the competing Samsung Galaxy Note, coming in a 8.5 millimeters.

OK, so if you’ve seen this phone, you know what I’ll be talking about. The new HP Veer is far and away the smallest, full-featured smartphone out on the market today. If you read the press before it appeared in stores, everyone was reporting it was small, but until you get your paws on it, you have no idea it’s scrawnyness.

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S II will be headed to AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in the U.S. While the flagship phone has been referred to as the “Galaxy S II”, the phone will take on different names depending on the carrier.

Android is planning to release an entire portfolio of Android products, not just one tablet as originally reported. The rumor hasn’t specified whether or not Amazon is planning multiple sized tablets, or a tablet and a new Android-powered eReader, although there’s some speculation that a smartphone could be in the works too.
