The HTC First isn’t Facebook’s first phone. But perhaps it will be the company’s first successful smartphone.

HTC’s first Windows Phone 8 device has just been outted as the HTC 8X. According to sources, HTC’s new Windows Phone 8 devices will come integrated with Beats Audio. The first Windows 8 device to include the technology will be the HTC Accord, which will feature a Beats Audio branding similar to HTC’s Android-based One X and One S. Phtos of a new HTC device, code-named the “Proto”, hit the interwebs, and it looks like the company’s follow-up to the One series that launched earlier this year. We all know that the iPhone 5 is on its way in a couple of months. Now, rumors suggest that the latest addition of the iPhone will be accompanied by the unveiling of the iPad Mini as well.

HTC and Verizon just unveiled their newest DROID-branded smartphone, the DROID Incredible 4G LTE. Microsoft’s Windows Phone Marketplace is now home to more than 25,000 applications, according to the app tracking website WindowsPhoneAppList. Verizon Wireless will begin to sell Windows Phone handsets towards the end of March. The HTC 7 Trophy, the same CDMA WP7 handset to be carried by Sprint, could be announced as early as February 28th. The device will have Microsoft’s “NoDo” update (also known as the copy and paste update) and should retail for $199.99 with a signed two-year contract. Anyone waiting for this phone?
