The Samsung Galaxy S III has finally been announced, and based on the specs, it jives with everything that was being rumored for the past few months. It will include a blistering 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a 4.7-inch HD display, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 1GB of RAM and of course, 4G LTE. Makers in Apple’s iPad supply chain have started delivering samples of 7.85-inch iPads for verification, with volume production likely to begin in the third quarter of 2012 at the earliest, according to industry sources.

HP’s webOS-powered tablet will launch this April, says DigiTimes, citing confirmation from HP’s component suppliers. Motorola announced pricing for their XOOM tablet. Apparently, the 3G/4G version will be available from Verizon Wireless for an unsubsidized price of $799.
