Citizen’s upcoming Eco-Drive Proximity watch has all the features of an analog timepiece, but it does something more. It quietly syncs to an iPhone 4S or the upcoming iPhone 5 through Bluetooth 4.0. If you miss a call, get a message or approach a meeting, the seconds hand will point to a word on the dial indicating what needs attention.
The iPhone syncs its time with the watch, and a search mode will communicate with the handset if it’s lost under the couch. The Citizen Eco-Drive Proximity watch will run around $550, and will be available this Fall. Check out our hands-on review shortly…
