Apple Peel 520 Case Turns iPod Touch Into iPhone

The Apple Peel 520 Case can turn your iPod into a full-fledged phone, while also acting as a protective case and an extra 800mAh battery, giving the device 4.5 hours of talk time and 120 hours of standby.

You simply insert a SIM card into the Apple Peel and, thanks to some jailbroken apps, you can use your iPod as a phone, making texts, calls, and more.

Yosion Technology’s Apple Peel 520 is based on an Infineon baseband processor, and could be available as soon as this week, with a price ranging from $44 to $74.  While there hasn’t been a release date, or for that matter, anyone actually reviewing it yet, we’ll wait to see if this device is a winner.
